You walking across the state, seeing and listening to the local is great. More decisions made at the level most capable certainly makes sense.

That said, the administration and Democrats seem adrift. They need to offer a compelling picture forward as an alternative to a fallback to Donald Trump. And that has not happened, or I don't see it.

You, yourself, are a smart energetic guy to get out in front of what can be done and achieved. We need to paint an exciting direction forward for the U.S. (and, there is one) to maintain, not its supremacy, but its engagement in the world, prosperity and enjoyment of all who live in it.
