Yes Yash. It's a bit gloomy for Democrats.

Hopefully they won't lose the Virgina Governorship and passing the infrastructure / climate bills will help.

Unfortunately I see Democrats as lousy salespeople and the worst is Joe Biden -- he couldn't sell his mother an ice cream on a hot sunny day. The caption "Build Back Better" was a poor choice -- it sound regressive and old -- just like Joe. They constantly refer to "spending" bills where the wording should be "investing, advancing, opportunity, delivering, impowering". Drop the terms "workers" "labor unions" and even "jobs". Replace with "talent, coordination and diversity of talent and economic parts and economic livelihoods. Get the idea?

Democrats have a looming problem for the 2024 presidential election. Who is running? Biden? Harris? Forget it. They are qualified to lose. What would be helpful, if Rebublicans pick an alternative to Trump (DeSantis maybe) and that would clarify the situation for them.
