Yes Garrett Snedaker, it baffles me that figures are seldon offered to these costs. We are never starting from zero. There are costs we are already incurring (that you are talking about), costs of doing something and NOT doing something. Often figures thrown out are way too removed from the individual or family or not put into a context that makes them meaningful.
Our poor infrastructure costs each American family $3,400 per year. Impact of global arming costs about $15,000 per household year. Biden's continued tarrifs on Chinese goods costs about $1,000 per household year. The list goes on. Similar figures can be placed on not having a comprehensive healthcare system and even racism (Citibank study determined losses of $16 trillion to the economy over the last 20 years).
These figures need hammering home.
