Yes Caren. And much to their credit if they can still get most of this passed. Although they need to get the benefits communicated (especially to moderate voters) and they are doing a poor job of that. Biden is lousy at selling but then it's just as much up to representatives and senators to be in front of their constituents.

Child care should have been an absolute no brainer as there is tons of support for this. Democrats have taken infrastructure and climate and made them dull when they could have been exciting. They have taken SPENDING and made it dull.

"Progressive" unfortunately has become a fracturing and not toxic word. And at this stage I would just DROP it from the volcabluary -- along with any others with the slightest connotation.
