Yes Brian Gilmore, an enormous waste of talent that costs everyone. And, of course it's not just those black males who are "removed", the damage extends the welfare of parents, wives, girlfriends and kids. We seem unable to get that through our thick heads.

But then, we have the likes of Lindsey Graham (in the Judge Jackson hearings) advocating locking folk away for 30 years for relatively small crimes.

We can have both accountability and decrease our prison population. At the moment it's a dreadful allocation of resources -- meaning, not just money but valuable people.
