America led the establishment of the UN, WTO, World Bank, WMF, WHO, and many other institutions that assisted in greater security and prosperity worldwide. For instance, poverty levels have plummeted.

The institutions were not always perfect, and unfortunately, America, under Donald Trump and Joe Biden, has detached from and even undermined these institutions in a national swing to protectionism and isolationism.

America must adjust to a new world with smaller and medium-sized powers. It can't simply tell others to obey; it must have convincing arguments and more discussion.
