William Spivey, way more took place that deserves attention.

This was an assault. If an unknown or less famous person had walked from the audience on to the stage and attacked a performer they would have been apprehended and certainly not have been allowed to remain in the auditorium. This was Donald Trump stuff of being able to shoot a person on Fifth Avenue in daylight because the normal rules don't apply to the privileged.

Will Smith did a "Donald Trump". He threw an attention getter at the audience. Getting no resistance he continued his performance and was awarded by an obedient loving crowd. Wow!

The worst actor in all this was the audience, paralyzed to saying NO. And, as to the total ineptness of the Academy?
