William Spivey, Tim Scott is a long shot but not impossible.

Should DeSantis divide the Trump crowd, and Scott becomes the leader of more moderate Republican voters? Youngkin and Kemp are his competitors, but neither may run. Haley has an identity issue and has blown her chances already. Pence and Pompeo have close to zero appeal.

Tim Scot has LIKABILITY, and this is almost essential to become President. Donald Trump is likable but is repetitive, old, and tired. DeSantis has the distinction of being UNLIKABLE. Although he may win the nomination, the Democrats would have to screw up big time for him to win the presidency.

Whatever happens on the Republican side, the Democrats need to build their strength. Unfortunately, they need to show more imagination and courage and are content to make do with Biden and Harris.

Many thanks.
