American households pay around $400 for the China tariffs plus more expensive products from other countries and reroutes of Chinese goods, which will likely double the $400 amount.

The Trump 27.5% tariff on Chinese-imported EVs makes buying an EV in America, on average, $11,000 more expensive. The price of ALL autos sold increases. This tariff rate equates to households paying an additional $2,000 annually.

In trying to win in November, Biden has increased the tariffs on Chinese-made EVs from 27.5% to 100%, which essentially denies Americans access to inexpensive, excellent EVs.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), most don't see or appreciate these costs.
