Well-written piece, Vince Rizzo.

Though commendable, the mobilization to remove Joe Biden from the ticket was made late in the Democratic Party's nomination process. The cost is that Democrats now have a nominee not chosen by them or subjected to competition. This is a risk pending.

Kamala Harris is on a wave because of the relief from Biden's departure and quick work by her team to lock up the nomination. Harris has presented confidence and competence at rallies but has yet to have a press conference or interview where she could catch a new wave or crash.

He may be an American patriot, however; historians may be less generous toward Biden's presidency (especially should Harris lose to Trump). His foreign policy will encounter more scrutiny, particularly his failure to see and act boldly on opportunities. Even his domestic policy and "achievements" will be questioned regarding direction and sense.

I have written many articles on Joe Biden and his policies. Also, "Is Kamala Harris More than Cosmetic?"

Many thanks. Best.
