Fiona Hill's "There is nothing for you here" suggests parallels not only of UK and American history leading to what we have now in both places but also, in a more condensed timeframe, what happened between the collapse of the USSR and Putin's Russia.

There are lessons for Americans even in places they believe they have nothing in common with.
