We want Putin to lose, NOT Russia.

"Bold actions are the safest" was Horatio Nelson's mind.

Alexander, America, and the West have been reticent to fully take on Putin from the time he amassed his forces around Ukraine. The consequences of this inaction, or action five steps behind, have been tens of thousands of lives lost, millions of people displaced, hundreds of billions of damage, and forty million folks likely pushed into food insecurity.

I've said throughout that we need to reinforce the difference between Putin and Russia continually; unfortunately, we have failed to do that. Little attention has been placed on post-Ukrainian war Russia. Contrary to the words from our Defense Secretary, it's of no benefit to America and the West to have a weak Russia.

I believe our support of ordinary Russians should have been much more robust. We could have allied with the oligarchs instead of ostracizing them (which was popular more for satisfying domestic sentiments of bringing down the rich).

Many thanks
