We are where we are. Arguably Biden got the nomination because of Sanders and won against Trump because of Covid.

Bernie lost the nomination to Biden, so his chances of winning the presidency were slim. Whether Covid would have made enough of a difference?

Regardless, Bernie emerged as a winner and moved the Democratic Party to the left.

That said, Bernie would be an AWFUL president. ZERO legislation would have been passed, and foreign policies would be even more shambolic than under Biden.
