Walkjivefly, it's assessment of risk. The downsides of the unknown side effects of the vaccine (which we are gathering more evidence all the time) versus the risk of getting the virus and possibly becoming very sick (and expensively so if that was not scary enough).

It's arithmetic and your choice of course but one that also effects others.
