Vic Napier,
Oil prices are an international market and have remained reasonably stable in the U.S., given Ukraine.
Energy from wind, solar, etc., is the future because the real oil price is so high. Interestingly, Europe now has a price for renewables equal to or less than hydrocarbons.
America failed to capitalize on inexpensive solar panels, wind turbines, and other helpful equipment from China, which would significantly reduce our energy bills.
Unfortunately, we are following a similar path with EVs. We should import them from China and save American households thousands annually. I make the case in "Americans Can Save $11,000 by Buying Chinese EVs"
Best.
