I just don't see him running in 2024 for the reasons that you point out. He has landed on the wrong side on our war in Ukraine and that would take dexterity beyond Trump to correct.

Trump's legacy is that all the Republicans running for House and Senate this year and those pitching for president in 2024 (so far) are versions of Trump.

At some point Republicans have to have something new. Something to build on.
