Unfortunately there is zero trust for bipartisanship to even begin to take place -- for the most part on the Republican side. Verbal agreements across the aisle (and between members of the same party) have to have credibility -- without, the smallest of agreement can't be made. Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham etc can't be relied upon in telling the day of the week. Nothing can begin changing until these folk are gone.
