A military invasion by China needs to be taken seriously by America. And answered not with "it probably won't happen". We need a strategy NOW to deal with that situation.

Our current animosity to China is NOT helpful to either our security or prosperity. Unfortunately, Biden is stoking that animosity because he believes it will bring him votes.

As you point out in your article, impressing upon Taiwan that it needs much more defensive capability would be helpful. Although it is very unlikely to win an outright war it, would be costly and painful for China. This demonstration of resistance has been played out by Ukraine against Russia.
