Tim, a wonderful trip through New Zealand.

New Zealand settlers were many English and Scottish. They largely forgot the class system of the old world because they were embraced by nature -- and had to deal with it.

It led to a country full of independent thinkers and tinkerers, which surfaces in your exchanges with New Zealanders. It's not just chance that this tiny populated country excels at yacht racing, filmmaking, mountain climbing, and distant runners.

Many thanks, and best to you and Teresa.
