The disparity of income, wealth, and (because of these) opportunity will continue to hurt all in America if we do nothing to correct the problem. America got Donald and Britain, Brexit (possibly Russia, Putin) due to decreasing economic mobility.

A WPA could help, although Yang's basic income is probably the sensible way to go because all would receive it. Ironically, the Republicans (should they ever get some leadership) would be better positioned than the Democrats (or Obama) to champion this.

Obama's presidency was difficult because the opposition led by Gingrich destroyed politics in government. The majority leader, McConnell, had zero interest in policy.
