This was a tragedy that didn't have to be and calling out for revenge is understandable but not helpful. Revenge is a weakness and not a strength.

We have got to do better than this. The judicial system is grossly unfair and we waste way to many lives particularly with too many folk (especially Black) in the prison system.

There have been a few things learned but it will take more attention and time.

Defunding the police was NOT the way to go. And this has had an enormous backlash and has cost Democrats moving to the Republican side.
