We in the U.S. waste talent because we fail to provide the basics for it to flourish and become valuable to the rest of us. We also waste talent out there in the developing world for the same reasons and the additional one of not allowing talent to flow into our country.

We are never going to totally get this right but putting in place an economic platform for all to have the opportunity to perform our best would certainly help. It would increase our prosperity and happiness to better compete in the world for one.

The huge thing we have to get over is SPITE. The mentality that we will deprive ourselves of something if it deprives someone else more.
