This statement is true. And it's challenging to execute a mass killing with a knife and more so with a rock.

Loneliness plays an enormous role.

From the macro picture. The U.S. is so isolated from the world that the management of firearms in Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand couldn't possibly, in any way, relate to America.

To American loneliness of evidence, reason, and weighing risks. That we rely on conspiracy and make-believe for comfort and security because all else has abandoned us.

To the perpetrator of this slaughter. It's NOT about good and evil. It's a suicide, likely driven by acute loneliness and despair.
