The thing is Russ, Amazon provides a service I appreciate. It's a continuation of the department store and the supermarket (I want to buy the sandals where I'm buying the shorts. I want to buy the wine where I'm buying the lamb (still impossible in some states)).
That Amazon has such a big chunk of the market is a concern but this could be countered by world wide competition. When Amazon maxes out on growth and has to deliver profits and dividends, then we can worry about raised prices and lack of an alternative supply of goodies -- but until then.
