The Republican Party is essentially gone. It's most unfortunate because the Democratic Party would be stronger with good opposition. More issues could be addressed, like those that you highlight.

Tariffs could be removed from Chinese (and other countries') imports. This would put around $800 per year into your and my households. The mostly Republican China bashing stops Biden from taking this simple action. Immigration is another. More talent entering the country will, in the longer term, bring down prices.
