The person at the top in national emergencies has proven to be key. The public trust in Winston Churchill was instrumental in defeating nazi Germany and likewise Jacinda Ardern the coronavirus in New Zealand. Unfortunately there was no such trust (across the board) in Donald and that was a huge contribution to our 300,000 deaths. We had tons of well qualified people lending good hands but without one reliable and consistent baton the orchestra was pretty much in a shambles.
