I recall a scene from the British comedy "Yes Minister."

The late Paul Edington plays the newly elected Prime Minister Jim Hacker, who reads the speech prepared for him by his private secretary:

"Bernard, this speech says absolutely nothing!"

"Oh, thank you, Prime Minister."

"No, Bernard, I want it to say something."

Unlike our British character, Kamala Harris failed to correct what was presented and seemed unprepared. She forgot a cushion to elevate her and fumbled the predictable "Day One" question. Harris should have taken one or two of your suggestions.

I wrote, "Is Kamala Harris More than Cosmetic?"
