China has manufacturing prowess that Americans can continue to benefit from.

Nixon opened trade with China, which lifted millions of Chinese from poverty and significantly elevated living standards in America, but his primary goal was not to let China become alienated from the USSR.

Trade, investments, education, research, sporting, and cultural ties with China make America more secure and prosperous.

Severing ties is dangerous; unfortunately, Trump and Biden have been doing just that.
