Sure, capitalism has brought us the things we have today including our laptops and writing on MEDIUM. There is real confusion about capitalism that needs sorting out. The real demons are monopolis (or near monopolies) of markets that push up prices, lesson choices and impede inovation. Micro soft had a monopoly on opperating systems that cost us all plenty including lost inovation and Amazon has an unhealthy share of the retail market that should be delt with. We need to urgently revamp (even apply what we have) antitrust laws to counter -- as Warren Buffet would put it "companies with moats".

Capitalism can srve us well in conjuction with socialism as I suggest i "Happiness and Wealth --it Takes Two to Tango" Hearst Publications and an editionhere on MEDIUM. Let me know your comments.
