Democrats have the talent but have to open paths for that to happen. Many folks need to move aside; some have done good jobs, like Pelosi. But it's time, and others are better equipped to address this century.

Joe Biden could announce today that he is not seeking a second term. This would allow talent to compete for the nomination and for Democrats to retain the White House. It would also likely energize the party for the mid-terms because it is not with this president's popularity. Biden could retire with some grace, having done his bit.
