Sikander, agreed that the Democrats should be doing better, and promoting their members on tenure rather than talent is wasteful and misses opportunities.

The demographics are on the Democratic side; hence, Republicans have had to resort to court dominance, drawing electoral boundaries, attacking minorities, etc.

It would be exceedingly difficult for the Democrats to retain the White House in 2024 with a left-of-center candidate. It is not impossible, but it would require a charismatic populist even better than Bernie-- who failed twice to win the nomination.

The current leadership of Biden lacks a picture of the American future, how we get there, and that everyone has a part.

A huge concern is our deteriorating relationship with China which has enormous consequences for us and our world. Here Biden is woefully wanting and appears not to realize it -- as with Afghanistan.

Best to you.
