Biden can be credited with successes, particularly on climate and trying to get more money into the hands of ordinary folk.

At the same time, much of Joe Biden's thinking on America's future is outdated, unimaginative, and plain wrong.

Biden's "Buy American" is a disservice. It will not raise living standards but drive higher prices while simultaneously making American companies less competitive. Subsidizing only U.S. content, EVs encourage other countries to do likewise and ultimately make vehicles more expensive for Americans. Will Biden push city governments across America to "Buy American" when replacing their bus fleets with EVs? This would be costly foolishness.

Joe Biden is not alone in his emphasis on "Jobs!" when PRODUCTIVITY drives the economy and elevates living standards and NOT employment. Deliberately creating jobs saps wealth and prosperity. Those chip industry jobs will likely cost a fortune a piece (It costs America about a million dollars per year to retain one steel mill job).
