I'm originally from New Zealand, where certainly a number of circumstances were in its favor -- an Island and a stop off to Antartica. But the total deaths of a country of around 5 million is 27. There was a social unity in dealing with COVID. At the same time I describe New Zealanders as rugged individuals who live in a strong democracy. Healthcare is universal.
