American voters pay foreign affairs little attention, so Biden holding out for a victory in a war somewhere isn't a breaking point.
The Texas border IS a breaking point, but Republicans, because of Trump, undermined their position by not running with what the Democrats had offered -- that WON'T be offered again.
Joe Biden has stayed. And that is unfortunate because a younger and more talented candidate could have replaced him.
On the other hand, Donald Trump would be a return to buffoonery in foreign policy (apart from the economy) and generally enormous damage. America could muddle through with Biden- the incrementalism and mediocrity. Admittedly, it could be better.
