ScottCDunn, Ukrainians are fighting to save themselves and their country from Putin's unprovoked assault. They wanted OUT from a relationship with a mobster boss in Moscow.

That seems a lot like fighting for freedom to me.

The bravery and excellent leadership of Zelensky together with the resilience and fortitude of the Ukrainian people have put the spine back into democracy. This is what has resonated with America and the West and the realization that Ukraine is fighting our war and that anything we can do to help them oust Putin from their country should be done.

The ramifications of our actions and inactions are enormous. The free nations together with the populations living under authoritarian regimes (including Russia) have huge stakes in the outcome.

Unfortunately your article continually compares apples with -- well, not even oranges.
