Scott, the best intelligence on Ukraine? The U.S. did not have the intelligence that the president of Ukraine and its people would stand and fight Putin. America did not have the intelligence telling us that Ukraine would successfully fight Putin's Russia.

Should Ukraine, with all the help from America and the West (and this needs stepping up several notches), be unable to oust Putin from Ukraine, then that would be the time to negotiate. Not before.
