Sarp, the rich countries need to again think more globally. In the last 20 years there has been a popular drift away from an integrated world. The jolts of both COVID and the war in Ukraine have provided the opportunity for a new global awareness, if not globalization, but a retreat into ever more gated nations is also possible.

Some planning for the future would be helpful in dealing with the food crisis and other upheavals -- as well as general prosperity and security. Particularly the U.S. Where well-defined policies and strategies are all but missing for Africa, the Middle East, China, and even Central and South America.
