Sarah Miller, what stomps the wage gains is inflation, a priority to get under control above the risk of recession.

Allowing way more immigration into America would help with longer term inflation concerns. An immediate anti-inflation measure would be the scrapping of tariffs on Chinese imports -- a saving of about $1000 per household year.
