Samuel,
Nor can Trump's disqualification according to the constitution be counted on by the Democrats, and denial and pushback from Donald and supporters would exist if defeated either way.
Pursue the constitutional path, but don't count on it.
The real problem is that Democrats have allowed themselves to be struck with a proven poor candidate, Joe Biden, and his hapless VP.
I wrote "Donald the Town Hall Clown?" which you may enjoy.
This can change if Democrats muster the resolve and gumption to push Biden aside. And a quick, solid PUSH is necessary because folk in comfortable, powerful positions don't depart voluntarily. A force of colleagues and journalists needs to cajole, pull, or drag him out of the way.
Who would replace Biden? We have roughly one hundred and twenty million eligible Americans for the presidency before counting those on social security. We can find ONE excellent person.
Although tight, Democrats can organize a primary to find a young and talented nominee.
Many thanks. Best.
