Biden deserves way more criticism than he received. It wasn't just a chaotic ending. Pulling out of Afghanistan was a grossly ill thought out decision with awful consequences (that unfortunately now receive little attention). It sent a dreadful message to our European allies and an encouraging one to Putin. But more that that, it was a massive opportunity lost by knucklehead Biden for the plight of women in Afghanistan and around the world. The equality of women being a huge factor in the security of the world.

Biden was NOT obliged to follow Trump's announcement of pulling out of Afghanistan.
