Trump is entertaining and looms large for a good chunk of the population. Biden doesn't stir the same emotions.

Joe Biden could help himself by allowing interviews, but he lacks the skill. Lately, he has had some real successes, and now would be an excellent time to announce his retirement, as I expressed in "Please, Joe, Not Another Term."
