Richard, there's some wisdom in what you write although race is less important perhaps.

There would have to be an extraordinarily skilled progressive to win the presidency for Democrats. Bernie, who was no Nelly, failed even to win the nomination. Who know whether or not he would have won against Trump.

What Democrats need is for good young leaders to surface from their ranks. They are certainly there but folk like Biden need to move out of the way.
