The media is playing catch-up. It has generally given Biden's frailties a pass, so when Biden had a debate implosion, it can no longer be underreported because the consequences are visible and dangerous.

Many writers and publications have warned of the current predicament, in which voters will prefer another Donald Trump presidency over an aged Biden. Over the last few years, I have written hundreds of articles, op-eds, and comments pointing out the danger, now a crisis.

While Trump's outrageous behavior can be addressed, it is NOT a defense of Biden's unmitigated disaster in front of tens of millions of viewers and gross shortcomings that have been hidden from public attention.

For Democrats (America and the world), Trump must be defeated. The evidence is now overwhelming that he will not be defeated if Biden is the nominee. The media must NOT give Biden time or respite because, in the interests of America, he must exit the race.

As I say, this is independent of Trump's behavior.
