Relle, we only have to look at film footage to see that Queen Elizabeth strived to meet people of color, whether abroad or in the UK.

She was very supportive of Nelson Mandela in dismantling apartheid in South Africa. She advocated for sanctions against the regime contrary to her Prime Minister's wishes.

More recently, the Queen supported Black Lives Matter in the U.S.

It's currently fashionable to bear down on British colonialism. Criticism is valid but should also include the upsides of which there were many. India got the infrastructure, a common language, and a working democracy. I am from New Zealand, which was a Crown colony. It's one of the most enjoyable and prosperous places to live.
