Ray,

Continuing to reduce the cost of solar and wind energy will displace oil. This is already happening, although more is needed quickly. New territories are opening, but oil companies are generally not opening new wells because of unseeable returns.

How can ordinary folk speed to a green economy?

They can demand zero tariffs on Chinese-made EVs, which would save their families $10,000 to $20,000 when buying a new vehicle.

Likewise, cities can be pressured to buy replacement buses from China at $120,000 each instead of the $400,000 American-made equivalent. School buses and postal vans can follow suit.

Solar panels, wind turbines, and additional green industry supplies would be dramatically cheaper if imported without the tax.

The excellent news is that the estimated cost of greening the economy is falling. That said, the demand for energy, primarily because of AI, is on a growth curve.

Many thanks. Best.
