Ramsey, hopefully, the agreement will hold, successive parts will follow, and a permanent ceasefire will be established.

There are opportunities now for America to build the structure of a new relationship with Iran. Whether the incoming administration seizes that is unlikely, but surprises occur.

American embassies opening in Iran (and Syria) would be stabilizing for the rebuilding of Gaza. Unfortunately, America is in an isolationist and protectionist mode, and attention spans are tiny.
