Quickly Fashion One Moderate Democratic Candidate and Save the Day

The moderates have to quickly get it together — challenging, but absolutely doable, and compared with the price of not acting — well? For each of the moderate candidates to keep paddling their individual canoes at this time makes no sense. Better to all board one boat, and sail together and overtake Bernie Sanders before gets to far out front. And, to those crying fowl or undemocratic — Nonsense! The strategy instead, would frame the race more democratically, and avoid the progressive minority wing being favored by a divided vote in the majority wing.

Bernie Sanders will have competition only if the Moderates unite!

To suggest that poorer performing candidates (from the moderate wing) should bow out and support one candidate, makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, this sensibility is unlikely to happen spontaneously. There will be no forest of hands from volunteers. Hard won positions, passions and tenacity, will need to be gathered and reforged with strong and convincing tools. This blacksmith shop approach, is necessary to hammer and fashion the unification of the moderate candidates — and without dilly-dally. It will be simple and difficult. But, if Al Capone and his competitive chums could put together a syndicate for their interests of common bad, then surely, a bunch of like-minded and likable political competitors, can work together for the common good.
