PolisPandit, not sure if that's so.
Donald Trump took an opportunity presented to him. It was a climate building for many years. While most enjoyed the benefits that came from globalization it left some worse off. Those hardships were fashioned into grievances by our Donald.
Unfortunately, simply Donald gone, doesn't correct the huge concern of the desparity of income, wealth (and because of these) opportunity. The social instability of this is dangerous to our democracy -- as we have witnessed -- and welfare.
The fractioning of the population with the resulting disfunction of government threatens to stymie the engines responsible for America's prosperity. The engines being the flow of capital, innovation, trade and immigration. The last few are suffering.
Climate, I see as an enormous opportunity for America to straighten itself out and again prosper. The Trump and COVID tragedies were also blessings.
Many thanks.
