Pluralus, excellent article in order to straighten a few popular wrong ideas.
Most often when folk are doing an anti capitalism pitch (or rant) they are addressing the very real issue of disparity of income, wealth and (because of these) opportunity. The consequences of which are enormously costly because apart from creating divisive populations and ungovernable countries, they undermine the engines of prosperity and our well being (the big engines are immigration, innovation and trade). This has already happened in the U.S. and our competitiveness in the world suffers -- along with our security (the two are directly and indirectly tied).
