Peter Shanosky, in this paragraph, you are missing the part played by innovation and automation in providing better products and services at a lower cost. Our living standards in America do not have to decline because those in the developing world are increasing.

We are losing competitiveness in America for many reasons, including insufficient economic insecurity and mobility and restrictive immigration.

We have placed JOBS at center stage, and I argue against that in "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Cry the Politicians”, which I invite you to read.

Many thanks
